i've decided to expand my knowledge base and start reading newspapers and magazines. i also like to sample them - food for thought, or thoughts for food as the case may be. i went to Yerba Buena Gardens and sat on the big green carpet. a lot of children were playing there and they stopped to look at me. i was trying to eat the carpet and anissa said "moo" to me. i think mom and dad changed my name today. my new name is five. everyone says, "hi, five", so i sometimes wave at them. then they clap hands with me and get all shouty and say stuff like "aw-right!" i guess they like this new name. don't tell, but i think i like my old name a little bit better.

Aimee had a treat for me today! It was an old Elmo's World DVD! I like Elmo. I have a tickle me Elmo that laughs and laughs, and then he makes ME laugh and laugh. At first I didn't like him, but now hes not such a bad guy. Elmo talked about how his friends made him happy and what a coincidence, my friend Oliva came into the office today. Shes still too little to crawl around on the floor with me, but I still waved at her. I tried to teacher her how to high-five, but she wanted to take a nap instead.

i went to l.a. this weekend with mommy and daddy. l.a. means "land of angels", so i was among my people. i took a bath in a big, big, big tubby, but it wasn't so fun like at home, cuz there were big people splashing me and i didn't get to be naked. but everyone told me that my red and white big-eeny was so cute. what's an eeny anyway? i played with a giant for a while. he lifted me up to the sky and i was waving at all the people in a 737. daddy said the giant's name is Amin, but i'll just call him 'jolly green' for short. today i'm hoodie-twins with anissa. she told me i should lose myself in the music, the moment, i own it, i should never let it go; i only get one shot and not to lose my chance to blow. huh? yo-yo, i'm just katie from the block. peace out.

Aimee didn't have my desired menu, but she did have my formula; or what I like to call my power shake. To quench my thirst I drank 14 whole ounce, 14! I usually only drink 6 or 7 ounces, but on account of my growing big and such, I thought I should step it up a notch. You can tell I'm getting big in this picture because my 2 teeth are showing through. I can chew cheerios like there is no tomorrow. I don't know if I'll have enough room for dinner, but hopefully I'll at least get some peaches!
